Marco Tagliafico, 1985


Lives and works in Alessandria, Italy.

He studied Oriental Languages at the University of Torino. During ten years of working career, he studied as a self-taught artist. In 2017 is the winner of “How do you want to be governed?” award (Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Modena) and takes part of “10 years old” exhibition. In 2018 he graduates at Master di alta formazione sull'immagine contemporanea (Fondazione Fotografia Modena) with Filippo Maggia. In 2018 makes a double solo show: “Metafotografare il museo” - Studiottantuno Contemporary Art Mantova and Palazzo D'Arco Mantova. In 2019 his work is selected by curator Claudio Composti for a video projection about italian contemporary photographers. In 2019 takes part of different exhibitions: “GE19 – Boiling Projects” - Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Torino, Premio Fabbri for contemporary photography - Pieve di Soligo, UKYA City Takeover - New Art Exchange Gallery Nottingham, Fly me to the Moon – Leica Galerie Milano, BJCEM – Torino. In 2020 takes part of “GE19 – Boiling Projects” - Fondazione Mazzullo Catania. Some of his works are part of the collection of Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Modena and private collections.
