Grey Area consists of an aluminum plate containing fragments of analog landscape photographs. The plate is folded and painted with different shades of color starting from neutral grey. It’s a process on the edge between the disappearance of photography and its reappearance from the fragments, where every detail, margin, or discard takes the value and it's impossible to define the image in its entirety.
The surfaces of different materials touch each other, generating the physical structure of the image. A thin, resistant, curved structure, not white nor black, a transient view extended in time and space.
